Too many ticks!

Who has a good answer for all the ticks that are around?  We have used Frontline but are still removing the darn things at an alarming rate.  Any additional sprays that work?

Use K9Advantix

I have had great luck with K9advantix. It repells and kills fleas, tics and even mosquitoes. I sent a e-mail to the chapter a while back on where to get it for 1/2 price by mail ordering from Australia. I take my dogs all over the Northeast going to shows and tests and the only tic I found was on myself! LOL! If you dont have cats at home (Advantix it toxic to them) I strongly recommend it.

Sounds like a wirehair

Sounds like a wirehair problem to me!Larry

Too Many Tickets

I have noticed the same thing with regards to the tick population.  My wirehair only had 2 ticks on him in a lifetime of hunting.  Max only had 2 on him up until this year when we were pulling multiple ticks off daily. Even the babysitter's dog had a couple on it from just going out to the bathroom.  I treated Max with some Sergeants product I got at Walmart and have no further troubles.  I suspect that the cold weather we have received the last few days will put and end to their schenanegans for the season anyway.
