Rick Smith Foundation Seminar - If you're looking for a better relationship with your dog, both at home and in the field, you've come to the right place. From puppyhood through the basics of being a bird dog, all the basic skills you and your dog will need can be found here. You will be trained to train your dog. You'll work with the Command Lead, check cord, and whoa post, as well as the chain, and your dog will have numerous opportunities to work birds

Al Burkhart Training Clinic - Following the tremendous success of the 2009 Al Burkhart Training Clinic, the OGR Chapter is pleased to announce the 2010 Clinic. Al
(Burkhart Kennels, Byron, New York) offers professional gun dog
training.His German Shorthaired Pointer breeding program has produced
many NAVHDA NA, UT, and VC dogs as well as AKC Master Hunters. He has
trained, tested and titled countless dogs.  Al is an active member of
the Finger Lakes Chapter of NAVHDA. This clinic will have a strong emphasis on the NAVHDA UT test with advanced field and water work.

When: July 24 & 25, 2010
Where: At Fadden's Property, Melbourne, Ontario (near London)
Cost: $125 (1 handler and 1 dog) OGR Members, $150 Non-Members - Includes 2 days of group training with Al and lunch for each day.
