2006 Woodcock opener Opening day was fairly productive. We moved 17 birds in two hours. Rainy weather really put a damper on woodcock hunting for the second consecutive year. I found water over my knee boots in areas where I had never seen water before! What ever happened to those sunny October days I remember?
