In case you haven't seen it, there is a wonderful article on Larry's involvement in NAVHDA in the June 2009 issue of Versatile Hunting Dog.

While reading the most recent issue of the Versatile Hunting Dog, I noticed the Pudelpointer article and I thought "I'll have to tell Dan to look at it as the dog looks a lot like his Max." Once I started to read, I was excited to realize that Dan already new about it! He was the author! Be sure to check it out!

Club member Dan Kramers and his Pudlepointer, Max took first prize in a recent Bango competition. Haven't heard of Bango? Neither had Dan prior to entering the competition on Sunday July 20th at the Pheasant Hollow preserve. Bango is a new shot and retreive competition that pits both the handlers shooting skills and the dogs retreiving skills agains numerous targets thrown to simulate hunting situations. Way to go Max and Dan!
